Homemade Dark Chocolate Chip Banana Cliff Bars

I love granola bars, but don’t always enjoy buying the ones from the grocery store with added sugars and preservatives. So, I created my very own… no added sugar, and made with all natural ingredients. Nothing beats homemade right?

3 cups Quaker Quick Oats


2 cups Puffed Wheat Cereal


1 tsp Baking Powder


1 tsp Baking Soda


1 tsp Pink Salt


⅓ cup Agave Nectar


½ cup Natural Peanut Butter


3 Mashed Bananas


1/3 cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce


1 tsp Vanilla


⅓  cup Dark Chocolate Chips


¼ cup Chopped Peanuts





1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.


2. Mix dry ingredients.


3. Mix wet ingredients.


4. Blend together until all dry ingredients are wet.


5. Coat 6×6 baking pan with coconut oil. 


6. Place ingredients in pan.


7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean in the middle.


8. Cool for 15 minutes.


9. Cut into bars and store at room temperature.
